Dr. Hana James, PT, DPT graduated from Chapman University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2019. She also attended Chapman for her Bachelor’s of Science in Health Science, which she earned in 2016. Hana grew up dancing, where she gained a deep appreciation for learning about the body and how it moves optimally to prevent injury. While completing her doctorate program, she had the opportunity to complete her final PT rotation in Costa Rica, where she not only immersed herself in a new culture and healthcare system, but also enhanced her Spanish speaking skills and collaborated with Costa Rican physical therapists and doctors to mutually enhance one another’s quality of patient care. In her four years practicing orthopedic physical therapy she has prized herself on delivering quality outcomes for patients of all ages who seek treatment for a multitude of musculoskeletal as well as balance conditions. Her favorite part of being a physical therapist is meeting and getting to know new people, and being able to facilitate their rehabilitative journeys towards moving and feeling better. In her free time Hana enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching hockey, practicing yoga and Pilates.
