Travis’s journey into the world of physical therapy commenced as a Division 1 cross country and track athlete at UC Irvine, where he cultivated a profound admiration for the human body’s potential. Yet, his path to excellence began earlier, at Redland High School, where he graduated as an eight-time varsity letterman, instilling in him a strong work ethic and a lifelong commitment to excellence. During his college years, Travis interned at an outpatient physical therapy clinic, discovering his passion for helping individuals regain mobility and overall well-being. His academic journey continued at Cal State Long Beach, culminating in the attainment of a Master’s of Physical Therapy in 2007 and licensed in the State of California in 2008. Travis’s relentless pursuit of knowledge and expertise never wavered. Beginning in 2008, he embarked on his Transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Temple University, graduating in 2010. During this transformative period, he also secured the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist APTA board certification, showcasing his unwavering commitment to excellence. Throughout his remarkable journey, Travis gained invaluable experience working with a diverse range of orthopedic patients, including professional track and field athletes. His association with UC Irvine’s track and field program for the past 13 years, coupled with his three years as a volunteer assistant coach, deepened his understanding of sports-related injuries and performance optimization.
